I was so excited when a Black Bear diner opened closer to my house but was disappointed to learn that it was a corporate location. Apparently corporate locations don't provide corn muffins with their salads nor do they participate in free kids Tuesday's. I guess I will have to drive farther to the Sandy location so I can get good food and service for a good price. I am so disappointed in this "corporate" location.
Biscuits 'n gravy cold, doughy, was hoping for better
We were a party of 4 and it was Sunday morning. Our waitress was changed mid term during our breakfast, so we didn't get the best service. Steaks were overcooked, coffee not refilled and extra amenities asked for, like salsa for my omelette were forgotten and never delivered. All in all, I will be back to give them another chance because I love Black Bear Diner. It's probably just the whole transition to being new to our neighborhood and getting the people trained properly.
