In 1995 founders Bruce Dean and Bob & Laurie Manley opened the first Black Bear Diner in Mt. Shasta, CA. The service was very good and the place was clean. The staff very friendly and helpful. Had the chicken fried steak. It was very good. The portion large had to take half home. Will be back.
