Visited the Lakewood Black Bear Diner to have breakfast - arrived at a about 8:45 with a party of 5. We were seated immediately - Drinks were served immediately waitress was pleasant - we each ordered something different. We all were blessed with a big biscuit which was perfectly warm and appetizing. My granddaughter who was 4 - was not able to eat all her food - 2 good sized pancakes, eggs, bacon and sausage ( big enough for an adult). Needless to say we were full for most of the day - we will return.

Great service, no wait, fat people portions, and good food. Couldn't be happier with the south Tacoma way branch that's attached to the Casino.

Huge portions and great service. I've always enjoyed eating at Black Bear when visiting family in CA and we ate at the one in Olympia a few times even though it's a drive from Tacoma. So happy to have a good diner so close!
