In 1995 founders Bruce Dean and Bob & Laurie Manley opened the first Black Bear Diner in Mt. Shasta, CA. Their mission was simple: create a fun and friendly atmosphere where the local community could enjoy huge portions of home-style cooking at a reasonable price. Just had the best breakfast here. The coffee is amazing! Shout out to our waitress, Patrice, thanks for the great service and conversation. We will be back again and again.
Had breakfast with my son, 2 Glizzley plates. Food was great, service was warm & friendly, and I was full all day! Each experience is wonderful, we can't wait to go back!!

First time there. Best breakfast I really enjoyed it. Great pancakes every thing was delicious. Servers were pleasant. Love the anbient friendly workers. Love the chairs at the counter. When I left my stomach my eyes and spirit was were satisfy.
