Looking forward to trying restaurant in Layton, love Black Bear. Got there just before close. Host didn't hide his disgust. Biggest eye roll ever, so we left.
The Layton location has upped their game since opening. You need to give them another chance. The last two visits have been above avg with service and food..
Egh it wasn’t that great. The chicken fried steaks were cold and some of the hash browns were kinda raw still. Egh back to Sills cafe we go. They never disappoint and they have scones
Long wait, slow service, did not give accurate estimates wait time. Breakfast food was good. Better than let’s say Denny’s. Not as good as Granny Annie’s in my opinion. Would potentially consider going back to try Lunch or Dinner Menu. However, I’ll probably stick with Granny Annie’s for breakfast.
Visited the Layton location and we had bad service from the start when they sat four groups of the same number in front of us that came in after we did. The staff seemed rude. The hostess was back talking the person training her. A waitress came over and told the table behind us that they were taking too long to leave. Food was a hit and a miss.
