The day my mother and I went, the cooks made an experimental Oreo pie that was amazing; I'd choose it over the mud pie (chocolate) one any day. I was told it would likely be around for the weekend, that the manager would see how it was received before making any changes; I was very disappointed to find out that it may no longer be available. Honestly the staff I asked about it, only gave me "I think" answers. As someone that chooses where I goes (like many of my family members) based off of how good their desserts are, if t... read more

I ordered my food expecting the food to be hot and amazing it was the total opposite. my salad plate was full of water with wet and pale looking lettuce. My burger was overcooked and fries were old. my husband's food which was the chicken fried steak tasted like the oil was old and never changed. my daughter's kids meal was the chicken fingers and again cold. very disappointing.

First time here and a disappointing experience. A few comments or suggestions: 1. Customer service begins at seating. If the customer doesn’t want to sit in a corner right by the door and there is an entire row of empty tables in another waitstaff’s area, step outside your waitstaff rotation and seat the customer in a more suitable location. 2. If it is a party of four and you plan to seat them at a table with four chairs but only two place settings in place, finish setting the table BEFORE you seat the customer. And w... read more

I was so excited to have Black Bear come to Logan.. What a disappointment. Right from the start. There were way too many employee's standing around looking at their phone or chatting with other employee's. The Diner was not busy. 3 simple menu items and not one of them were served correctly. Bacon had been blanched and not cooked thru it was cold, egg was cold, pancake didn't even melt the butter. It was overcooked on one side. My sandwich bread was soggy, no 1000's island.. Hamburger came as a child's plate with no garn... read more

My mother and father-in-law, husband and I, went there to try it for the first time and the one lady didn't know where to sit us. We finally got seated and got our drinks. The food took us forever to get because no one would take our order. The servers just stood around talking and wouldn't help us. We sat there for about 20 to 30 minutes. My father-in-law is a diabetic and needed something to eat.

We first went to Lack Bear Diner a few days after it opened. the service was extremely slow, the food was a little cold. I signed up for the club and received a coupon for a free breakfast. So we decided to go back and try again. Slow service, cold food...afterwards they couldn't get the coupon to work. So the manager came and took off just the waffles. It said to take the entire breakfast off and she told me how they had problems. She took an extra 5$ off for our time, but it still didn't equal the waffles, eggs and ... read more

I have dined at BBD in Oregon and Idaho in the past and always had a very good experience. Recently my wife and I dined at the Logan, Utah location on two separate occasions, once for breakfast and once for dinner. On both occasions the food arrived at our table and it was cold. When I pointed it out to the waitress she took my breakfast back into the kitchen and reheated it in the microwave which made my over easy eggs solid. During dinner my wife ordered the Salmon which was overcooked and dry. I ordered the Tri tip combo ... read more
