RecommendedWe go here quite often and have never had a bad experience, until today. We waited over an hour for food that never came. Our wait was acknowledged by offering a free pie, but 20 minutes later, still no food. Patrons sat at the same time as us left with full bellies as we left with still no signs of our food. I am hoping this is the exception and not the new norm because this has been our go to meal in Madera for almost 5 years.
took for ever and when I got my plate they brought half of it and the other half when I was almost done wouldn't come back here ever
Bait & Switch - This place offers a freeway special of steak & eggs for $8.99 but the last couple times we ordered it the waitress charged us more. The sign on the fence by the treeway says Steak & Eggs $8.99 Monday - Thursday - Not valid on Holidays. Tonight was Thursday. I don't know this Thursday to be a Holiday yet the waitress tried to raise the price on the steak & eggs. When I called her on it she said it was because of the time of day. It was 6:30pm. Slow service and cold food are not a good combo. Just sayin' Madera.
I was as happy yesterday as i have been in the past. Took awhile to get food and it just wasn't as good as before.
