Stopped in with a group, was seated and then waitress said may have to reseat us “because I’m getting off at 2”. At the time it was only 1:15. Anyway we ordered and then she brought our tickets to us to pay before our food was even served. And she asked for how much tip to add off my credit card, told her I would leave on the table. Came by again looking to collect tip before food arrived. Had to ask hostess for refills on tea and water (by the way, hostess stated when we entered that she didn’t wait tables). Do not order to go on line. Black Bear will not accurately fill your order and when you call to complain, they require that you bring back your order so as to verify that your missing food is truly missing. You’re miles away and already disappointed and their answer is “there’s nothing we can do about it”. I offered to give my name and phone number along with my check/order number but there is no mechanism to resolve the issue either by “compting” or maybe by “rain check”. I can’t share about the food because were never seated. There were two groups of people who came in after us and were seated before us.

We loved going to Black Bear before but today was the end of that. Our meal was ruined by everything being nasty and dusty. Yelling and lots of loud talking. Had to wipe off our table because it was sticky, no salt on table. Dust on everything and the floor was filthy. They do serve large portions if you aren’t afraid to eat it. I am sorry but there is no excuse for filth. We are so disappointed because we use to enjoy going there. Would like to add that Mr. Ernest was not in. after my visit today I wont be back.....over an hour to get my food that was cold and very bland...dust and cobwebs on the decorations and old gravy splashed on the wall pictures.....this location is a disgrace to the name....

Waited a hour then had to ask to be seated after watching multiple people being seated. Would not recommend this place service was awful.

North Little Rock, Arkansas: 11-07-21; Called to ask if they were open on Thanksgiving. The person answering the phone said he didn't know. I asked if he could find out. He said his manager was too busy for him to ask. He advised me that Thanksgiving was still 2 weeks away. I told him we would find somewhere else to go. There's a 12 top they will lose.

The floors were dirty. The wait was ridiculous. I ordered fish and the fish was rubbery … awful … couldn’t eat it. Bathroom was nasty. Cute decor but that’s about it for the positives. Will not return.

Sat at the counter In the front of the kitchen and wait staff- eggs bacon and waffle order—45 minutes in and no one on staff could tell us when our order would make it out Walked out and went elsewhere…
