Service was slow and you get the enjoyment of watching food just sit in the window. don't seem to have any clue what's going on at expo. All while servers stand around and talk and play on phones, with dirty tables around the building.

As an individual who has worked in customer service for years, I have to say the customer service at this establishment is absolutely terrible. I went to have breakfast with my cousin and we stood at the hostess stand for a good 10-15 minutes without anyone even greeting us or saying “I’ll be right with you” (FIRST RED FLAG). I literally had to call out to one of the servers to ask that we be helped and her response was extremely distasteful and rude. After finally being acknowledged, we were able to get a table. My meatloaf was horrible, cornbread muffins were like a cupcake they were so sweet. Service was poor, and they were very slow on Saturday night. My daughter’s chicken and waffles were way overcooked. Prime Rib was brought out burnt, my meatloaf was like mystery meat and burnt 1/3 wAy through. Dinner never brought manager out, never offered to take anything off for the bad food and bad service. 1st time at this diner and we waited an hour in the car (which was fine it’s Father’s Day) then when I go inside to check on our table all of a sudden a table is already available. Then once seated waited another hour just for the waitress to tell us that they haven’t started on our food yet because they have a lot of pickup orders. Tried to eat here for the first time and the person that “greeted” us at the door was very unfriendly. That should have been our red flag. We were seated for a while with no acknowledgement while lots of workers were just standing around. I saw two ladies running their legs off and they probably won’t stay long doing all the work. I realize it’s hard to find help right now but if you are paying people to stand around and ignore customers you aren’t doing yourself any favors either. Went to eat lunch, walked in saw something on the sign that I wanted, when waitress came to take our order (after waiting at least 15 minutes) she told me she had to see if the item was still available, watched her walk to the kitchen to pick up an order, she then carried order to another table, she then went to another table to check on them....I decided to just leave at that point!! Promise I won’t ever step foot in there again
My first time going there was terrible. Our waitress wouldn’t talk to us to explain our food was taking so long, she had a bad attitude & while I was checking out the cashier did not speak to me & my date but spoke to the couple in front of us which gave us racist vibes. Food was good but ALL their customer service is very HORRIBLE

Please let your location of Lake wood village, north Little Rock, Arkansas know that who ever is ordering their beef brisket is actually ordering Ham brisket and everyone eating their “beef brisket” dishes are actually eating ham. I just had food poisoning from pork recently, and had to research difference between the two briskets. I talked to the manager and waiter.
