The food here is great. Our server Alec was awesome very attentive and quick to get our food to the the table, the restaurant wasn't very busy when we came in but by the time we left Alec was running back and forth to every table. Even though he was busy he provided some great service. Highly recommend BlackBear Pasadena.

Good food but slightly slow service. They seemed to be short staffed while we were there. The restaurant had a fun cabin feel. We would give it another try.

Best breakfast ever the eggs were cooked to perfection exactly what I wanted the grits were creamy and delicious and the bacon was exactly as I liked it crispy and delicious yum.

Came back for breakfast, as my children love their breakfast options & they did not disappoint. I decided to try something new this time so I went with the chicken sausage scramble....AMAZING! We had Ms. Windy as our server and she was great! Super attentive and took really great care of us. Atmosphere was good also. Definitely recommend trying this place out and coming in early so you don't wait long... worth the wait though!

My husband & i was visiting Texas for my birthday weekend , this was my first time eat at BLACK BEAR DINER I highly recommend you try THEIR CINNAMON FRINCH TOAST . Our waiter was so sweet , the customer service all around alsome food is delicious my husband & I ate breakfast & lunch here
