I ordered an order of Biscuits and gravy with a sausage patty and coffee. The Biscuits were pretty tough. I thought I'd have to get a chainsaw to cut the Biscuits. I don't think I'll be eating there for a long time. I don't appreciate the staff speaking Spanish to each other either.
I my wife and her family went there for my wife’s birthday breakfast and we ordered and after waiting what seemed to be 20-30 mins we got are meal I ordered the GRIZZ and I got my meal and my hash brown were burnt so I asked the waitress if I can have another she sent over another worse then the one I first got so I told the manager “Jose” he did absolutely nothing no comp or apologies never going here again rather go to another restaurant

I meet the owner Rose and the general manager I believe his name is Jose and they're the nicest people I just want to thank you guys for the bear bucks and for your courtesy I love Black Bear Diner so does my daughter it's a great family atmosphere

Why does the 10% AARP not count towards kid's meals and for a meal ordered by a 12 year old off the regular menu?? Makes NO sense!!
Was my favorite place until today. Biscuit was dry, gravy was salty, waitress was lazy. She did not take our order (someone else did) she brought our food and brought our check and it was someone else's check.. I had to correct her. The bus boy was more attentive than her... my hubby tried the corned beef hash or whatever it's called... OMG it was a portion for a kid, there was bay leaves in it still, and coriander or some peppercorn maybe? Worst experience ever.

We were 8 deep and asked for a table , we were asked to wait for an open table while the bk area was completemy empty , so after bout a 20 min wait.... Of course my wife was irritated and ask"d how much longer we had to wait and if it was going to be any longer we were going to leave... AND VERY GRACIOUSLY SAID "" OK".... Very unprefionable....�
