In 1995 founders Bruce Dean and Bob & Laurie Manley opened the first Black Bear Diner in Mt. Shasta, CA. RecommendedWe had an amazing time! After trying to go to 3other different places on a Friday night with a 3year old, we settled for here. Everyone was amazing from us walking into the door to us leaving, we had an AMAZING waitress, Nanette, aka "Sally" she was fantastic. We asked her for her next 2weeks shifts so we could come see her again! She was the best!
Black bear diner is a cozy place that has pretty good food. It's nice to have at any time. The prices are reasonable for the amount of food you get and the service is beyond amazing. The waitress that I got was Anett and she was attentive and funny. She worked hard but was also able to stop and have a friendly chat. Overall the whole place is welcoming and friendly.

Overall it was Good! Service is kinda slow. Don't order the fish & chips!!! They shouldn't even be on the menu, they were awful! Every thing else was super yummy! Make sure you come hungry!
