1st Time at this diner. I ordered an omelette with mushrooms and cheese. The mushrooms were not cooked. Appeared to be thrown on top as an afterthought. John orange juice actually tasted like it had gone bad � Both were left uneaten and when we mentioned this to the server he just handed us our bill. To say the least we won’t be going there again.
My daughter's Big Cub's steak had too much fat around it and the gravy was on the salty side. Our server was very nice and attentive, which meant he got a good tip. The food was not the best for dinner. Breakfast is much better.

I was there last night, I ordered pork ribs, they were over cooked, and dry I thought our waiter was going to ask me if I wanted something else...but he did not, he kept on saying that’s the way they cook it. I was so pissed off. I did NOT want a free meal, the day before I took my family for burgers at Super Burgers in Santa Rosa, and the bill came to $186.00. And the bill at Black Bear was $79.00. So it wasn’t about the money. I’ll probably won’t go back there again.
Ordered 2 burgers took 30 minutes finally got mine order was wrong gave me basic burger instead of western burger my mom had the sourdough burger which had nore stuff they took my burger back had to wait another 5 min. It had 1 onion ring on it and cost 11.29 no bacon my moms cost 10.49 and was bigger. Pricing didnt make sense and the food was just ok left hungry. Not enough fries for cost either.

They were terribly understaffed when we arrived. It was less than a perfect visit, but being in the food industry I understand. My pancakes were too fluffy. I will be back though.
