Joseph our server was great! He was really attentive and checked up on us multiple times. The food was good & the portion sizes are nice! I love the vibe this place brings.

I don't usually write reviews, but this place deserves it. everything was AMAZING. the food was amazing, the service was amazing, and the ambiance was so comforting. yesterday was my prom, and originally we had planned to go to Tx roadhouse or 54th street, but as it turned out they were so packed we couldn't get in. so, we decided to try Black Bear Diner and we are so glad we did!! we got in and out super fast, and the staff was very attentive! The time we went was about 1pm. During the week so there wasn't a lot of people there. I ordered the patty melt. To be honest , I wasn't blown away by this patty melt the meat was very dry. And a little tasteless. I'm not going to say I "won't go back" I'll give it another try later on in the future. Our server was nice, attentive and knowledgeable about the menu.
