In 1995 founders Bruce Dean and Bob & Laurie Manley opened the first Black Bear Diner in Mt. Shasta, CA. Love the menu - a lot to pick from AND have a menu that has "a little less" for people who can't eat the whole meal. Love the staff there too - just a nice comfortable place to go and relax and not break the budget too bad. A bit pricey for a diner but it is quite good food
