In 1995, my wife and I had the pleasure of going to the Black Bear Diner located in Mt. Shasta, California. We were camping close by and decided to try this new restaurant. What a nice surprise, it was great. Now days we have been going to the Black Bear Diner in Sunnyvale, CA for quite a long time. I often order pancakes or waffles there, and one thing that stands out from other restaurants is that they give you warm, real maple syrup, not that horrible corn syrup that most restaurants have. First time at this location. The food was amazing. We came around 11 so I wasn't craving breakfast. The sandwich was amazing.. breakfast is always great here it feels fresh and homemade. The services amazing. This is a nosy place because it's very family oriented.

My mom and I went for breakfast here, and were genuinely transported to a relaxing, diner experience. Jose was our server, and gave us great recommendations that made us choose delicious choices. This is a great spot if you want to grab breakfast with friends or a family date!

Excellent service. Waiter was very nice she adjusted all of my extra needs I wanted for my dish and coffee was always offer every 5mins
