In 1995 founders Bruce Dean and Bob & Laurie Manley opened the first Black Bear Diner in Mt. Shasta, CA. Vistited twice within 3 days, staff was great, food was delicious, big portions even for the smaller selections, will definitely come back again.

Amazing staff! My daughter had a chocolate bars that she is selling for a school trip and she brought them in so they wouldn’t melt in the car. The staff ended up buying her all out of her box of candy bars! She was so excited and thankful to sell her first box! Very friendly and inviting atmosphere and thank you for supporting my daughters fundraiser!
