In 1995 founders Bruce Dean and Bob & Laurie Manley opened the first Black Bear Diner in Mt. Shasta, CA. When I arrived there were families waiting to go in as being a small family we were seated right away, thank goodness for small tables, The food was great and service the same. My only question is why is there No Military Discount? The diner is with in 10 miles of a Military Installation.
