About this business

In 1995 founders Bruce Dean and Bob & Laurie Manley opened the first Black Bear Diner in Mt. Shasta, CA. Their mission was simple: create a fun and friendly atmosphere where the local community could enjoy huge portions of home-style cooking at a reasonable price. As good as all the black bear diners I've been to. I hope everyone who has a good experience writes such to overshadow the bad ones. Remember, we are all human and have off days. I've never had a bad experience with their business.

As usual the food was great and it came in a timely fashion, and our server Sage was very attentive. On the negative side, we had a table that was wobbly and we had to ask three different times to three different people to have something done about it. When we were finally moved, we were moved to another wobbly table. Not as bad, but still wobbly. Other than that, everything was good. Glad to have a Black Bear Diner in Tucson. The building inside could be a little bigger.
