In 1995 founders Bruce Dean and Bob & Laurie Manley opened the first Black Bear Diner in Mt. Shasta, CA. Excellent food and huge portions!!!! The best breakfast we have had in Tucson in years!!!!! We were there this morning. There was a line to wait, but not un"bearable". The staff was very friendly and helpful. The food AMAZING!!! Portions HUGE!!!! I would give it 7 stars if I could.

It was very good but a lot of food, can definitely share and they don't charge for that. Service was good and prompt as was food. We have gone twice in a week, can't really complain about anything.
Our new Saturday morning breakfast place. Loved the Benedict. I don't know how they did it but it was PERFECT!
