In 1995 founders Bruce Dean and Bob & Laurie Manley opened the first Black Bear Diner in Mt. Shasta, CA. RecommendedIt was awesome from the service to the decor ..the plates were hugh..alot of food and it was all good..the staff were super friendly ,and fast. I will diffentaly go back.
Very friendly family atmosphere, the attention to detail in the decor was very impressive. Loved the woodwork and bears. Servers were very polite and kind �� the food was great!

This was our second time here in a week. During the week we didn't have to wait but today being Sunday, with a party of 6, we did have to wait but it was well worth the wait. We had the same waitress and she was wonderful. Food plentiful and very good, service was top notch. We will definitely be back.

Sweet Cream Pancakes!! Fun, enjoyable environment. Felt like a family friendly joint like back east (MA). Warm smiles, quick service, hot food, enough to share or bring left overs home. Everything is homemade, even desserts!!
