The hostess were nice, not quite as attentive as would have like..The food presentation was executed well but the food was AWFUL..I've been in there during morning hours an it was alot better..maybe its the time of day and change of cook...BUT THEY HAVE REALLY GOOD CORNBREAD AND DESSERTS
We were seated and we're doing good until we saw a COCKROACH crawling near our table. I asked for the manager and all she could say was "I guess they're coming out again and Thank you for letting me now so we can focus on that area". I was shocked. Apparently this wasn't the first time of a COCKROACH sighting. Not so much as s "sorry, can I do anything for you. Not even any kind of compensation. NOTHING! Never AGAIN!!!!

So today we went to black bear diner in Tulare ,California with my mom for her birthday she asked the waitress if we could sit in the front . The waitress told my mom you have to sit in the back since you have a kid with you � I was so pissed . I wanted to leave but it was my moms birthday and she really wanted to eat here so we stayed but believe I won't be back !!! It's not like it's some fancy expensive restaurant please it's a diner �. So if you have kids and don't want to be treated this way don't eat here
Disgusted by Black Bear Diner in Tulare today. 10 minute wait to order, 20 to get my food, and when I got it the sausage was well.... undercooked to say the least. Then the waitress told me that it wasn't undercooked that that's the color of their sausage. Um, yeah pink is the color of not properly cooked sausage. I didn't eat another bite and just sat there until they brought my bill. I asked to speak to a manager and after him stumbling over excuse after excuse he finally took it off.
