The people were ok, but I must have been there on an off night (1-4-2016 4:00pm). The bread used to make my mom's sandwich was so dry that it felt, to the touch, like it had been toasted, but it hadn't. I had the chicken dinner, and am pretty sure I got served chicken from earlier in the day that was re-fried. It was dry, and WAY overcooked. Not happy with the service. Took way too long for our order to be taken after water was brought. Then we waited at least an hour probably longer for our food to come out. So long that my sons apples that came with his TINY bowl of overpriced boxed mac and cheese were already brown. Food was okay, not worth the price or the wait. Unlikely we will go back. Don't get the hype.
We went Dec 22nd. We love Black Bear in other locations, but this one REALLY needs work. It was almost an HOUR (50 min, I timed it) before we got our food. Even though we walked in with 3 kids, they didn't think to offer us the kids menu. We thought maybe they didn't have one. Turns out they did. Went there for Christmas dinner 9 of us!!! Took forever for someone to come take our order like everyone each drank 2 glasses of soda. After we ordered it took over 30 minutes to get our meal. tons of workers, all them asking each other if someone knew how to make a brownie sundae :( and not really that busy as we went a 7 pm.
