Mother’s Day was hectic, especially when your stepson’s mom does a no show on mother’s day. By the time we established that, every place was over an hour wait. I thought of Black Bear Diner, because the have the best waffles!! 👅 we call and they said that their wait was about 20-30 minutes. So we wait. I'm a New Yorker. We know from diners. Black Bear is as authentic as diners get. Large, tasty, portions at an impossibly reasonable price. An ever full cuppa joe. Servers with moxie, poise, and talent--and it takes talent to be a good server. And jaunty music that brings back memories. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are all good at Black Bear Diner.
