I have used Bluebirds before but never for a long period. This was a test for all of use to see how they and my grandmother coped. I have been impressed with their professionalism from the management to the carers and know that if I wasn't they'd take the matter seriously. I have no qualms with using them again and am doing so very shortly. I do not have any previous experience with care companies to compare Bluebirds with but I expect to use their services for as long as they're needed without any worries at all.

From the first phone call when I made initial contact, the whole process of using Bluebird has been professional and warm with a fantastic compassionate attitude towards my parents needs and for that I am extremely grateful. Live in care was required for at least a month, two carers were provided. Both excellent in terms of competence, responsiveness and friendliness. The first carer had to leave as the area was not covered by internet access and so she could not study for her professional exams, Bluebird were very quick to find an alternative carer who was equally good. Clearly price is a major issue, Bluebird seem to be competitive nevertheless cost is a big hurdle.

The customer in question required immediate respite live in care services after coming out of hospital and an immediate response from Bluebird Care was required. It was agreed with the family that after a months live in care, we would look at re-introducing daily visits to accommodate the customers needs. I found the carer undertrained. She could not cook English basic food, she was unable to drive for any shopping or outings and panicked if I said I felt ill. She managed to break my cooker, as no one else was doing any cooking, and told me that although I had broken my hip, she would not come if I called in the night.

Bluebird carers are very good. We only used them for shopping and cleaning but when my dad was hospitalised and mum went into a care home I spoke to the office saying I no longer required their care he said he would get someone to call me. This didn’t happen so I replied to an email to tell them I no longer require them. This seems to have disappeared.
