All the carers have been punctual and caring in conversations with my husband who is very deaf and with dementia and encourage to be as independent as possible.

Business response:

Thank you for your kind words; we always try to help maintain our customers' independence for as long as possible and help our customers' families as well.

As my husband's dementia developed I know I would need help at home. The Bluebird Birds and office staff fulfilled their "Good Old Fashioned Service" reputation and cared for him in many ways. They were also kind and thoughtful to me throughout a very difficult time. Thank you Bluebirds.

Business response:

Thank you very much for your lovely words. We always like to make sure that our customers and their families are happy and contented with our service.

In July 2020 we unexpectedly needed urgent care for my mother who was suffering from dementia and had recently returned to her home from hospital following a hip replacement. From the moment I contacted the Bluebird care manager by phone from Australia, I knew I was in expert and friendly hands and my overall impression of the whole Bluebird team is that they are exceptionally caring, empathetic, efficient and professional in all their dealings. The support my mother received was very good - caring staff were approachable, r... read more

I have used Bluebird Care for a number of years for my son who has Downs Syndrome. I have always found them to be very professional. It is difficult to hand over care particularly personal care to others. It has allowed my son to remain independent and I have been able to relax knowing the quality of care he receives is the very best the staff can offer. He is not always able to make himself understood but he is always listened to, and treated with the utmost respect. I have always found Bluebird easy to converse with and if... read more

The ladies are friendly, caring, thoughtful and patient; always willing to accommodate required tasks, in a cheerful manner. Furthermore, they are prepared to go above and beyond if an emergency should occur. All these attributes lead to a good relationship between the ladies and the family with whom they are working.

Business response:

Thank you for your very kind words. Our carers are always happy to go the extra mile, if they need to, and always look forward to working alongside families.

I am my mother’s carer who has dementia. As Mum’s dementia has deteriorated I was in need of extra help for her to continue living an independent life in her own home. I was recommended Bluebird Care, the carers and management team have always been very supportive, flexible and helpful to my requests. The carers are punctual, polite, carry out their tasks professionally and treat Mum with respect. They are in frequent contact with me which keeps me updated on Mum’s daily needs and this in turn gives me peace of mind knowing ... read more

In February 2020, my mother had to go into a care home. Previous to this she had experienced two years under the excellent care of Bluebird. Though suffering from dementia, each and every carer took the time to listen to her, treated her with dignity and most importantly made her feel valued as a person. Consequently, mum looked forward to and thoroughly enjoyed the time spent with the carers. Their professionalism was exemplary. Each visit was recorded in detail and available for me to read on their app. Regular reviews wer... read more
