I put a deposit on a car at Habberstad on 2/26 and ended up buying from another dealership. It has not been easy to get my deposit back from Habberstad despite the fact I called the next day (twice!!) to let the salesman know I was not going to buy the car. He told me he would credit the refund back to my credit card by Monday (2/29), by Saturday it was still not showing up. Trying to figure out why Habberstad BMW Tire insurance costs $2500 and Goodyear offers tire replacement for $100 after 3 of my tires went flat. Did someone say price gouging? Emailed Eric Habberstad three times, no response. Called Dave the service manager and no return call. Bad tires and bad service…buyers beware. BMW USA says "call the dealer…we don't handle".
I love this dealership! The service department is the best on Long Island!!! If your dealing with the sales department stay away from Marc Morro. He has proven to be the most incompetent person in the place.
WORSTTTTTT SERVICE DEPT I HAVE EVER BEEN TO !!!!They had my car for a month and a half !!!! And after they finally gave it back they didn't tighten a hose right and it exploded and my car almost overheated not even an hour after getting it back !!!!
