I have been to Bond 45 five times now and have enjoyed the experience every time.
We didn't have a bad time. Everything, however, was simply average. Nothing stood out from the food to the service and I don't think we'll return.
We have been here many times and have not been disappointed yet. Always enjoyed the food.
We lucked out finding a same day reservation on open table...so we cancelled our NYE dinner plans at a neighboring restaurant. Everything was wonderful at Bond 45! We arrived earlier than our reservation and the host was able to seat us immediately. Jamie H was our server and she was amazing! Excellent knowledge of the menu and she made solid recommendations when we were torn between dinner choices. The fillet special that night was delicious. My family and I went to Bond 45 to celebrate my mother's 60th birthday and could not have enjoyed ourselves more! Our group of 4 was seated in a room just off the main restaurant. The waiter was extremely friendly and brought us champagne as soon as he heard we were celebrating a birthday. (Which he also brought to the couple next to us who got engaged just as we were hearing the specials!) The food was excellent, as was the service. Although pricey, Bond 45 food is "GOOD" - from the starters to dessert we were delighted with everything.

This was my first time to this restaurant, I saw that it had some pretty great reviews so I trusted them with delivering an exceptional meal for my engagement (I proposed later that night). The service was awesome, very attentive but not too attentive. My glass was never empty. The appetizer was awesome, we had the calamari and shrimp with fried jalapenos. I went there for lunch with some friends that had never been to National Harbor. Where we sat, the view of the river and bridge was spectacular. The food was good but very pricey for lunch. Add the fact that it cost $9 to park in the garage and this became a rather expensive lunch experience.
