Don't get me wrong, the food was good and nothing was terrible about this restaurant. However when paying over $50 per entree, you expect a certain level of service and certain level of flavor. Neither of these were met. The waiter hurried us into getting an appetizer then didn't take our order until after we were done with said appetizer. All food was awesome. Been here several times for Xmas dinner. They always do a great job. Food was cooked spot on. Everything came out nice and hot, not too hot, but the way you'd expect it to be. I had the bone-in filet, my usual is the bone-in rib eye, but wow! This streak is my NOW go to. Got it medium, blackened - Cajun. It was just brilliant! Appetizers were awesome as well. Our table was in a small room with a window view of McCormick & Schmick's dumpster. The fried artichoke appetizer was tough without much taste. The chardonnay was nicely chilled, but after pouring the first glass, the server left the bottle on the table in a warm room with nothing to keep it cool. She did bring an ice bucket after I asked. Our server was knowledgeable on the menu. The steaks were cooked to perfection. Everything we ordered was delicious.
Food was average and at their prices food should be fantastic. The best part was the delicious chocolate chip cookies they bring to you at the end!
My friends and I went there for a birthday celebration and it was JUST AWESOME!! The service was great, the food delicious, and the overall experience is one to remember. Will go back for special occasions!
Burrata with egplant was to die for until i had the Bond 45 Strip steak. Exceptional My wife had the veal chop with Truffle sause it also waas outstanding. We sat out on the porch overlooking the harbor so very little noise and great view. How can you go wrong with hot chocolate cookies for dessert. Pricey but worth it.
The steak was amazing a usual and service was second to none. John was our server and I would request him next time I visit.
Great seafood. Meatballs were commendable. I've had better steak (had ribeye on the bone). Very good service, and good views of National Harbor activity.
