A terrific birthday dinner--succulent lobster, magnificent red sauce, crisp, flavorful salad. A real treat! My entire party thoroughly enjoyed their meal.
I had the ossobucco pappardelle and my wife had the filet. Both of our meals were excellent. The manager recommended some great wine in our price range. Service was not overbearing and everyone was very polite
The foods was good, however the dinner itself took a total time of about 3 hours. The portions are enough for two. Sitting on the patio or in sun gives the best view of the of the river. Overall the experience was nice.
Veal Parm may be the best (and biggest) I have ever experienced! Outstanding!!
The food and the service were excellent. The huge popovers were fantastic.
The wine list and fresh mozzarella were great. The food overall was excellent. However, the service was extremely slow. We were entertaining clients and only had a party of 7, but it took more than an hour to get our entrees. And that was only after a member of our party got up to track down the waiter. Because of the rush to get our entrees out not all of the steaks were cooked to order. Seated in a sunroom that was very warm. Menu did not describe our selections as spicy but they were both over the top peppery. Very over priced.
Was there 2 years ago, food was outstanding and service was comparable. This return was less so but not disastrous. Great food and meat. Id return.
Bottle of Chianti was great...Server was excellent...Crab Cake lacked taste....Fruity Di Mare pasta noodles were a little tough, but dish was tasty...
