Great service! Food was excellent and cooked to perfection. Great selection of wine. I will take my friends the next time I'm in town.
Excellent dinner, huge servings.
Went on a Sunday, so not the best night for kitchen and service. Party of 6. 3 had steaks, 3 had seafood. Steaks were all rib- eyes but one was cut close to 2 inches thick, other 2 closer to 1 inch. All were too grisly, but other wise nicely crusted and properly cooked. The sides, particularly the fried artichokes, were nothing more than pieces of unedible "bark" of some type. Pretty horrible. A beautiful resturant on the Potomac. Both of our main dishes were very good, but the appetizers & deserts were less than fair.
Great evening, beautiful view of the sunset over the harbor for a birthday dinner with my wife. Food was great, but service was a little slow (we had a show to get to up on the Plateau). A bit pricey, but good for special occasions.
My friend and I went there on Sunday around 1 pm. I made a reservation because I thought the place would be packed, but the restaurant wasn't full at that time so a reservation wasn't needed. I was disappointed that the yellowfin tuna burger wasn't available, but the French dip sliders were delicious.
Overall, the restaurant was very good. The only problem that I had was the rather limited selection of appetizers. There could have been a list that included more traditionsl items..
Generous portions (we shared a huge entree, and still had leftovers to take home). Friendly wait-staff. Free prosecco for anniversary drink.
mozzarella was delicious, as were meatballs. everything else was fine. just another overpriced steakhouse, really. for $200, i'd rather eat somewhere where the cooking involved more artistry. it was fine; nothing special.
