Someone must have gotten sick,so a crew came in to start cleaning. The smell of the cleaning fluids overtook our section of the restaurant. I suffer from migraines and this was making me get sick, plus our appetizers were just being served at the same time. I had to ask to me moved, which we were accommodated, but I feel that someone should have moved us prior to the clean up knowing how it would smell. In addition we were only offered an apology.
I have been going to Bond 45 in the NY Theatre District for years. The quality of the food has gone done. They are known for their chicken parmigiana. I had it last night and it was very disappointing. I used to love it. It was soggy and not crispy. The service was disinterested.
OK not great. Classic New York super expensive prices. Picked it because kids need pizza as an option, and the pizza is just really pretty terrible for New York standards. Seafood pasta excellent.

Breakfast is always great. Pancakes are fantastic!
We really liked the restaurant. Perfect location for our lunch before going to the theater. I am just not a big fan of the unisex restroom, especially when you have kids.
Orrechiete with pesto was excellent as was in-house burrata. Cheese cake was large and very good...even the coffee was quite good!
We went here before theater. The food was very impressive. The service was perfect. The young man who was our waiter was terrific. Meals were reasonable. Wine however was way, way overpriced!!!! The placed was packed, we had a 5:15 reservation before a 7PM curtain. Would highly recommend a reservation if you are going before theater.
Very energetic restaurant, however very slow to bring out deserts that are premade. We were going to the theater after dinner and waited 45 mins after placing our dessert order and still did not get our deserts so cancel it and left. So if you are going to an appointment after this is not the place to go.
