We went to the charming downstairs bar for a cocktail and were so comfortable we decided to forgo our table and eat at the bar! Upstairs dining was upbeat and bustling but downstairs was more intimate and quieter. Charming decor and very good food! Management and all service was accommodating and friendly! We will return!!
They management was so helpful with making our reservation feel special for my Dad's 60th Birthday. I dropped of candles and a little centerpiece for the table the night before and the team set everything up for me. Everyone was so nice and i was so appreciative.
Have been to Bond 45 several times and it never disappoints. My husband and I were given complimentary sparking wine while waiting, a nice touch. The service was excellent, food delicious and lovely ambiance. The veggie appetizers, especially the butternut squash lasagna is my favorite. Will definitely be back when seeing my next show.
Food is excellent but very pricey. Entrees are a la carte and definitely smaller than they used to be. Not the exceptional restaurant of years past.
This is the second time we have gone to Bonn 45. ( now on 46 street near Times Swuare) The food is outstanding . We especially like the meatball lasagna - made with their own freshly made pasta noodles. I also enjoyed the Veal Parmesan. Wish we’d had room to have their cheesecake. Very expensive. We were seated downstairs and totally forgot about the antipasto bar which is upstairs. I learned from a friend later that we should've done the antipasto bar and our waiter never mentioned it. Although it was on the menu, we never really considered it because of all the other items on the menu. We ordered the chicken parm which was huge but it came with no side pasta or veggies. Totally overpriced at $28.00 They got us in and out within an hour which is what we needed to get to our show.
Taking family to a show
Even though we had to wait 20 minutes due to being 2 minutes last to our reservation Bond 45 got us our food quick, even enough time for desert. You want a place to go before your show? This is the place.
Although the food and service we're very good, we were seated up front and it was very tight and crowded. Also, we felt that we were being rushed so we could not relax.
