Christmas dinner
It looks like it's always crowded, but with reservations, we were seated within a few minutes of our reservation time. Everyone was very nice, service was great, food was exceptional! We were seated downstairs so it wasn't quite as noisy and we could hear our own conversations. It's a bit expensive, but worth it!

Excellent food, service and ambiance
They placed us downstairs which had no atmosphere. Food was almost awful- pasta was inedible- way too salty. But in fairness, when I gently complained, they took it right off the.bill. On the other hand, the chocolate mousse was lovely and abundant. Because they were so gracious about the meal I complained about, I might give them another try, but it’s also quite pricey so I would have to consider carefully.
The restaurant is very nice, good for a date or meeting friends at the bar. The food is very good and a good value. The wine was also very good and a good value. The only negative is that they sat us near the door and it was very cold every time it opened. We asked to be moved, but being Christmas day they couldn't accommodate us.
This has become our Christmas Day tradition before seeing a play.
Christmas trip to New York
This was our second meal at the new Bond 45 location. It's a large, comfortable, very handsome traditional-looking restaurant, though not as large as the last location, extremely convenient for pre- and post-theatre. The service was friendly and fairly attentive and the noise level wasn't a problem (however, the restaurant wasn't full).
