Bond 45, a New York Italian Kitchen & Bar was originally located on 45th street in the former historic Bond Clothing Store (1948-1977), is now open in its new home on 46th street. Bond 45 is best known for its vegetable antipasto bar which offers a rotating selection of market vegetables and features an expansive menu that include specialty veal chops, seafood, house made pasta, thin crust pizza and breakfast all day.

Service was outstanding. Food was delicious as well. The only downside is we were very close to the couple next to us, though I guess that's typical for NYC dining. We ended up chatting with the couple midway through the meal all the way to dessert. They were lovely dining companions lol!
Good food in theater district. We ate in the downstairs room which was nice. We had vegetarian s in our party and they were very happy.
Just perfect! Try the chocolate mouse for dessert, enough for 2 or more. Yum!
Service was not good at all, it is a very busy place, they seemed either short staffed or disorganized. I asked for butter it never came, we had a bottle of wine, glass came dirty, brought a second glass, still not clean. We had to pour our own wine and water glasses did not get filled. It is a quite big restaurant, to busy for us, we like the smaller more intimate restaurants so we would probably not go back.
Thoroughly enjoyed our meal at Bond45. Great atmosphere. we sat at a table/booth for two and it was tight (other diners were adjacent). Ordered their specialty drink for two - excellent - lots of ice but still delish. Split the caesar and an absolutely delicious pasta with chicken and truffles. So good. Beautiful setting but I would have preferred to dine downstairs. will go back!
The new Bond is fantastic.......... Worth the wait!!! The decor is fantastic and of course the food meets the same standard as in the prior location.
Went in alone twice, sat at bar. Felt very welcomed, and had great food - lasagne / margherita pizza and drinks. Went in again for a celebratory dinner, and sat in dining room. Our waiter was absolutely amazing, please recognize Guy as the spectacular server he is! Food, again, was delicious. The restaurant overall is gorgeous - thank you, David Korins! He was the reason I came to check it out in the first place, and the bartenders/servers and delicious food kept me coming back!
We like this new Bond 45 better than the first. A bit smaller/cozier and the portions and prices are as well. We will be back.
We celebrated our anniversary with a great meal and good service. The manager, Jeff, congratulated us and gave us a glass of champagne. The meal was great and an exceptional value for midtown New York. Will definitely go again.
