We enjoyed a very pleasant dinner at Bond 45. It was very convenient to theater district. The menu had something for everyone to enjoy. The staff was very friendly. It was great place for breakfast, lunch, dinner or late night snack. The prices were very reasonable for a nice portion and delicious food. It recently reopened and the atmosphere was very nice. They added some extra touches - the waiter came around with fresh baked cookies and on the way out, we were offered chocolate by the host. I would definitely recommend Bo... read more

Our waiter, Guy was fantastic. He saved the day. The restaurant just moved a short distance and revamped the decor (designer of Hamilton I believe). The eclectic furniture is strange. The wall of video with a seascape loop is even stranger. I was expecting the old place so, was disappointed to find that they had moved after so long. The 1940's decor was nice. Newer isn't always better. The menu changed and was experimental. again, newer isn't always better.

Bond 45 has been our favorite restaurant for years. We live in California and go to New York yearly for business. We were so sad when we found Bond 45 closed last October and very excited to have it open this year! We found the decor to be lovely but the service not as friendly and personable. I was so looking forward to the dinner and ambiance but sadly I felt neglected and our waiter was just too busy. We had to ask for several items. But we will still return.

The veal chop and cutlet is my absolute favorite in the city, whether al milanese or parmigiano. The tomato caprese with burrato was splendid. The bourbon pours could be a little deeper, but the chocolate cake was moist and delicious and a perfect cap to the meal.

Compared to the previous location, the basement, is not the place to be seated. Food came out slowly. Main waiter was not as attentive as in previous visits at former location. Filet mignon was slightly more than medium and closer to medium well. The caesar’s salad was just ok, nothing to write home about. Overall, this was passable, but not up to Mr. Fireman’s usual quality plus having not seen the display of offerings that are a signature of his places was a major disappointment, although I was told they were on the main f... read more

Waiter did not seem attentive and was not able to assist with vegetarian options as other waiter was in the table behind us.

This was our first visit to the new location of Bond 45, now on West 46th, right across from Hamilton at the Richard Rodgers Theater. Their old location was a renovated department store. The newly designed space a block north is also large yet creatively intimate and very comfortable. Despite the filled tables, it was possible to have a group conversation without discomfort. The large screen visuals of ocean waves were restful, not distracting. The moderately priced menu leans Italian but is eclectic. Our salmon was perfectl... read more
