Bond 45 is best known for its vegetable antipasto bar which offers a rotating selection of market vegetables and features an expansive menu that include specialty veal chops, seafood, house made pasta, thin crust pizza and breakfast all day.

Hard pressed to find reservations for 8 around 42nd Street, I was grateful to get in on a Friday night. Our table was ready when we arrived. Our waiter was excellent as was the food. Steaks were done perfectly. Lasagna was different but very tasty and very filling. The only downside was the location of our table. We were next to the stairs and a server station. We picked Bond 45 based on its location and reviews. Overall outstanding food and service. The house made warm burrata and cherry tomato appetizer is amazing. The lasagna is laid out on a platter like a pizza. It has a great meat sauce and cheese with a lightly baked edge.
I ordered the Dover sole and it came without the sauce. Just dry fish. We were surprised. We have eaten here many times and always had excellent food and service. The other dis lasagna was fine. Waiter was not exceptional.

We ate pre-theater, and they did an excellent job getting us out on time with a 5:30 seating and a 7:00pm "Hamilton" performance to make nearby. The food was good (not great). The atmosphere was nice and the location was wonderful. The down-side to the experience was the service. After we were seated, it took 20 minutes for anyone to stop at our table and even offer water. A little bit loud but I had a good experience with a client at lunch. Really good service. Nice interior. I would go back to try other things. Manager was accommodating too with a table request.
Really close to Time Square. We were going to Lion King and it was literally a two minute walk from our theatre. Get the lasagna!
Every time we go to see a show in the City,we have dinner at Bond 45. It never disappoints, the food and service is great! The bo-to favorite dish is their homemade northern Italian style open faced lasagna, it's absolutely amazing -- bring your appetite! From the bread to the fresh baked cookies that they pass around, the food is simply delicious! Service is friendly and attentive. If you have a show to get to after dinner, they know to get you out on time, without you feeling rushed.
Perfect restaurant for pre-theatre dining. The service was wonderful....staff made sure we placed order so as to have enough time to receive food and eat before leaving for theatre. The food itself was so-so. My husband and I wanted to eat light and ordered fish...it was so-so. Very dry...we would not order it again.
