Bond 45, a New York Italian Kitchen & Bar was originally located on 45th street in the former historic Bond Clothing Store (1948-1977), is now open in its new home on 46th street. Bond 45 is best known for its vegetable antipasto bar which offers a rotating selection of market vegetables and features an expansive menu that include specialty veal chops, seafood, house made pasta, thin crust pizza and breakfast all day.

Never disappoints. We always go for dinner here before a show.
I just love the beautiful antipasto display on your left when you enter the restaurant, and the bowl of toffee at the host/hostess table. Usually a meal of fried artichokes and burrata, along with some vegetable choices from the antipasto menu is a meal. We celebrated a birthday this last time, and it was made perfect by a slice of amazing cheesecake adorned with a sparkler, and complimentary champagne. This is iPhone of my favorite theater district restaurants!
I have been to Bond 45 every time I go to New York. Our first experience was outstanding and each one since has been the same.
I have been to Bond 45 several times but this time was by far the best. The food was impeccable. We had the trio veggie appetizer. We picked the artichokes, eggplant and brussel sprouts. All were amazing. We also had the homemade burratta with tomato and prosciutto which was wonderful. Our entrees were DELECTABLE!!! That was my adjective of the night. Old world Italian ambience in a hectic, energized atmosphere. The experience starts as soon as you enter the building with the paneled bar to the left and the open kitchen (highlighting the fabulous antipasto appetizers in full view) to the white clothes and booth seating. Still love their pizza and strawberry cheesecake. The service leaves much to be desired. It was so bad, it almost changed my view of the restaurant.
If your looking for great food, great service, and ambience, Bond 45 is the place to go. And if you love thin pizza, there is no better.
Excellent pre-theatre dinner choice; perfectly grilled wild salmon with crispy skin; yummy freshly baked chocolate chip cookies on the house; party of 8 and waiter kept food and wine flowing without feeling rushed, but on time for 8 pm show. Another fabulous meal at Bond 45!
