Bond 45, a New York Italian Kitchen & Bar was originally located on 45th street in the former historic Bond Clothing Store (1948-1977), is now open in its new home on 46th street. Bond 45 is best known for its vegetable antipasto bar which offers a rotating selection of market vegetables and features an expansive menu that include specialty veal chops, seafood, house made pasta, thin crust pizza and breakfast all day.

Expensive for the level of food served. As a local I was disappointed. Probably a tourist trap.
When I go to New York City I always try to get to Bond 45. The homemade mozzarella is delicious. We can make a meal out of the sides alone. Awesome roasted veggies. Highly recommend the veal chop parmigiana & filet!
From the moment you enter you are greeted warmly. The antipasto is varied and delicious. Sea scallops with a Parmesan risotto was outstanding in flavor and the scallops were cooked perfectly. Test of a restaurant is the bread served and it is delicious. Our server was informed and gracious.
I'd say 3.5 stars Have frequented this place on a number of occasions and have never been disappointed up until this last visit. Was in the mood for scallops but not the risotto that it was being served with. When I mentioned that to the server, he very accomodatingly and graciously suggested the scallops with a veggie substitution for the risotto, which sounded perfect. We loved this restaurant. We had the most incredible waiter that made you feel like you were the only one in restaurant. Definitely will recommend
Everything was great until the food arrived. (More on that later). I was greeted and had a lovely chat prior to being seated. My request, when I made the res, was honored and our server was fab. The fried baby artichokes were great but I felt everything else on the mixed warm antipasto was so-so. Even the warm cookies lacked a little pizazz. Maybe next time?
Been to Bond 45 3 times in one week. Each time, my guests couldn't believe how delicious the lasagna was; the amazing chocolate mousse and whipped cream served in 2 pails. I thought that the New York Cheesecake was unbelievably delicious. The maître d's, Justin and Jeffery, particularly are personable and professional. When you walk in, you are greeted warmly. Can't say enough about the staff and food. I would recommend Bond 45 if you want to have a special place to dine. It's a winner!!
Our reservation was honored and we were seated at a nice table. The wait staff was very attentive and made sure we were out of the restaurant in time for our show time. My husband enjoyed his meal. My veal was tough and I was disappointed because I had been thoroughly delighted with my food during previous visits to the restaurant. We like Bond 45 because of its convenient location to Times Square and the Theater District.
