the steak and fish were great good location ,very well wine list we had a greta evening in very good ammbiance
We have been to the DC Bond45 a few times and enjoyed all but the last visit. Since we were in NYC, we thought we'd try the original. What a treat. Great service, good food and a wonderfully New York ambiance--vibrant and fun.
One of the better choices in the tourist area of Times Square.
We often eat at Bond 45 for lunch pre-theater. The food is very good, except for the 3 course prix fix entrees. On 3 separate occasions they tasted re-heated and overcooked and we were very disappointed. The items we ordered a la carte were delicious however. We will continue to frequent Bond 45 but will stay away from the 3 course prix fix lunches.
Convenient for pre-theatre, but we weren't dazzled by the food. Our meal could best be described as "predictable".
Excellent service. Everything was prepared well and timely. Mozzarella was fresher than ever.
We were well treated in a quick pre-dinner meal. Asked for gluten free options and got good choices and advice. The wine list is extensive and pricy but the Italian local wine choices were reasonable and very good. Desserts were outrageously good. We had the risotto, the tuna on a bed of lentils and the divers scallops -- all were very good. I accidentally left my favorite scarf and they picked it up and saved it for me. Very accomodating service.
I was there recently and had an amazing time. The service was awesome and the food was spectacular. There was 8 at my table, two of them were children and they treated them like there own. I would recommend this place for anybody.
The food was good, the drinks were small, the service was exceptional, we arrived an hour early for our reservation, and were told that the Theater crowd will be making a mass exodus in about 20 minutes, and we'd be able to be seated. They were right, it was a sight to see the restaurant empty out like that, but we sat and had a very enjoyable meal. We will definitely go again. When we made the reservations on Open Table though we were told that we would not get points for this restaurant.
