My wife recommended this after her and her friends dined here one weekend whilst visiting NYC. She and I booked a table late on Friday night during a recent visit to New York. As we approached the restaurant, I was really skeptical. It's just off Broadway. It's got a really bright pink & blue fluorescent sign. Everything said 'overpriced & poor quality' from the outside. The scallops on the seafood pizza was still frozen. We should have been informed that the cheese used on the open lasagna was different from the cheese which is normally used. This experience will certainly make us rethink going back to Bond 45.
The food is average and the service by our waiter JD was superb! Very good deserts.
Food was good portion was small for the $.
The food was great, and there was enough to fill you up. The dining area was a little crowded, with barely any room for wait staff to move between tables. Also, large dining room, acoustics were loud.
Food was outstanding. One of the best meals we ever had eating out. Superb.
Bond 45 is the restaurant that I go to when I have theater tickets in the mid forties between 6th and 7th Avenues. The steaks, fish and veal are always excellent. The drinks are generous and the service is outstanding. Because the restaurant is multi leveled and open the noise level can on occassion get loud.
The mozzarella is outstanding; service was very attentive. The steaks and appetizers were wonderful; the fish was undercooked and remained so even when sent back. That being said, I would go back, the menu is interesting and exciting
Our party of 7 had a great time at Bond 45; the food was good - and the lasagne was presented very uniquely. The service was excellent. Even though the restaurant was full, we were made to feel special and cared for. Our only complaint would be the noise level was high, and it was difficult to hear each other at times.
