I took a large group, and the restaurant had no problem accommodating us. Everyone raved about the food, especially the risotto and the steak frites (which struck me as the best bang for your buck if you want a steak). The service was excellent, and management was very courteous despite some unruly behavior from one of the girls in my party. This was easily the best meal we had while in NYC, and we ate at some landmark establishments.
Food is good and restaurant is nice, but it is expensive for what it is.
Only downside was a little cold on the restaurant in winter due to large open plan high ceiling, and was sitting next to drafty window. Otherwise all was very good, nice atmosphere.
This is an incredible Steakhouse! After hearing from friends about how good the steaks and service were, we decided to come in one night. We had both the Ribeye and the Prime Strip and they were amazing! Definitely start with some of the housemade Burrata cheese and some of the anitipasto. Our server was incredible and completely made our night! We can't wait to go back. Definitely noisy during the pre-theatre hours and PERFECT after 8:00!!!
Great restaurant for a business dinner or a quick dinner before a show. The staff was friendly and attentive but not overbearing. The food was very good.
My wife had the Grilled Veal Chop and i had the Veal Chop Parmigiana we also had the Burrata(cream-filled mozzarella)with beefsteak tomatoes and we split the Roasted Parmesan Potatoes. It was good but we thought it was too pricy the total cost was about $155 with tip my wife only had water to drink and i had 2 beers i think it should have been maybe $40-$50 cheaper. The restaurant was real loud it was hard to talk to my wife but the decor was nice also i asked the waiter where some Jazz or blue clubs where located and he wen... read more
I selected Bond 45 due to its wide variety of specialties (steak, seafood AND Italian?! - and they're ALL delicious) for our pre-theatre dinner with friends. We all could not have been more pleasantly surprised with the menu and even more so with the food. Our waiter was delightful and very helpful in making suggestions, great specialty drink menu and wine selection and the food was perfectly prepared. Definitely try the fried calamari - yelled at my husband for ordering the old standard but there is a lovely twist to this v... read more
We weren't expecting much - just killing time to avoid a rush hour ride home after a matinee - but what a great surprise Bond 45 turned out to be! The mozzarella and beefsteak appetizer was delicious - enough for 3 or 4 people. Our entrees were cooked to order - also delicious. The profiterols were a nice ending to a great meal which was also good for 3 people. Our waiter, Jonathan, was the best - attentive, humorous, and totally knowledgeable about the menu...
Food was just ok. For the price and the restaurant group they belong to I expected much better.
