The service was a little spotty and the place was loud until the pre-theatre people cleared out. After that, it was appreciablt quieter and the service was spectacular.
Great spot for pre-theater dining--good food, attentive service, and very energetic atmosphere. Not a romantic spot, but fun.

The food was outstanding. A very fun, open Italian kitchen atmosphere. We went to celebrate my daughter's 19th birthday before a show. JD, our waiter, was awesome and so much fun. He really made the night special for us. I would highley recommend this restaurant for before a show, and/or a special occasion. Be prepared to spend $$$ for a pasta dish, but it's NYC, and it's worth it!
Had the ribollita soup (delicious) and the scampi appetizer--great sauce, entree-sized portion was nice, but the shrimp was not so fresh. husband felt same about fillet of sole. would try other things on menu, but many other good restaurants to try.
Best pre theatre restaurant ever. Consistently wonderful.
We've walked past the funky pink sign and thought- no. But the experience was wonderful; we ate early New Year's Eve as we had plans for the evening. The food was delicious and the staff was very helpful. We will be back!
We usually love Bond 45 for our pre- and post-theater dining. However last Sunday, January 1, 2011, everything was off. We had to ask to for bread - this NEVER happens here. And requests for refills on water had to be made multiple times. Food and drinks took a lot longer than expected. The place was packed but that isn't an excuse, especially for such a professional establishment in the heart of tourist land.
