Dr. Boyd is a knowledgeable professional. He listens intently, then clearly articulates recommendations and options. Dr. Boyd did full replacements on both of my knees, and one year later one of my hips. Now three years later these joints are pain free, this is huge after being in pain for 20 plus years. I know one day I’ll need my other hip replaced, and when that day comes even though I’ve moved to Florida I will be coming back to Dr. Boyd.
From my first appointment with Dr Boyd in October 2022 through surgery in January 2023 and post op follow up I have been totally impressed by Dr Boyd, his staff and the practice. Dr Boyd is professional, knowledgeable but above all the most caring physician I have met.
Dr. Boyd replaced both of my knees within one year. Both surgeries went very well. The thing that I liked best about his technique, was that he used no external stitches or staples. He used glue to hold my skin together. Therefore, I have no external scarring on my legs. To some, that is very important. He also used state of the art robotic surgery. His bedside manner was very soothing. His office staff was always helpful. I would recommend Dr. Boyd to anyone who is in need of a knee replacement.
I have used Dr. Boyd for a Robitoic hip replacement as well as rods and screws taken out of my leg. Recently. 6 weeks ago I had another Robitoic part, my knee. I can tell you in both operations Dr. Boyd was compassionate, caring never rushed me in his office. Operating room, or folliw-ups. Dr Boyd performed knee replacement surgery on me. I can’t assess his technique but his bedside manner could not have been better. Post surgery he has promptly answered email questions, even on a Sunday of a holiday weekend. I recommend him without qualifications.
Dr Boyd performed a bilateral knee and hip replacement on me. The experience was exceptionally wonderful. He and his staff are extremely caring and pleasant. One of his best qualities is that he is a great listener and eliminates the fear of complex procedure(s). I am walking better now than i have in years and planning a cross-country bike ride this summer. If you are in need of knee(s)or hip(s) replacements you owe it to yourself to visit him and his staff.
