I made the right decision in asking Dr. Boyd to do my surgery. He is an expert in robotically assisted total knee replacement. The surgery was done without a tourniquet. He used the latest in anesthesia and pain management techniques. The image of my knee post-surgery was textbook perfect. My trust in Dr. Boyd was well founded.
Words can not express how happy I have been with Dr. Boyd. As someone who is also a healthcare provider, I have extremely high standards for those taking the lead with my healthcare. Dr Boyd recently performed my revision on my previous knee replacement performed by a previous Dr. This surgery was performed at Reston Hospital where from start to discharge the entire experience was perfect! Dr Boyd’s surgery fixed all of my previous hip problems. He is accurate in his work, and totally compassionate to his patients. His explanations are totally clear and concise. Thank you Dr Boyd. You’re a true blessing to me and my family.
After my first knee replacement pulled off my knee bone, I visited doctors to have it removed & my knee and leg (which became bowled) repaired. I chose Dr Boyd. His demeanor, reputation & expertise were reassuring. Nine weeks later, I’m walking a mile and I’m completely without pain. And my leg is straight thanks to rods and screws. I call him my Miracle Man and refer him to everyone I can.
I just had my knee replaced and I could not have asked for a better Doctor. Great bedside manner and very thorough in eliminating any pain through recovery. His staff is equally pleasant and do their best to accommodate schedules. I will be having my left knee done as soon as I heal the right one and I will to no other Doctor.

Dr. Boyd is amazing! He has very good bedside manner. He listens to my questions and concerns with care. He replaced both hips and I had the best recovery. He is the MOST AMAZING orthopedic suregeon in the DMV!!!
Dr Boyd did my husband's knee replacement and did an excellent job. My daughter has since gone to him and she is also pleased with the care she has received.
