NEVER even got a call from them after signing up at Costco. Called them twice to see what the hold up was - - - no return call. I would have rated them a ZERO, but my iPad required a rating number in order to comment. ZERO. ZERO. ZERO.
Made an appointment for electrician to visit and either fix or replace ceiling heater. I had a new unit waiting in case it needed to be replaced to save time. I was quoted appropriately $325 for job without complications. Technician arrived and never even evaluated job, quoted $1000 to install it. I said well I'm prepared to pay approximately $325. He clearly had no desire to do job and to scam. Odd business. Another electrician came our fixed it in 40 minutes for $187. There's some fishy about this place,

Our labor cost is $360 per hour, with the ability to alter when we input the hours we are actually on site, even if not on site for a full hour. Check the number of complaints they have with the BBB. According to their bid, their work was "Adding new switches and outlets in stair well, kitchen, customer location." They didn't replace the switch to the stair well and left the other outlets and switches just wired, with no actual outlets or switches! Some of them were also not put in the locations as shown in our drawings. Their contract also states "Pay Schedule: 50% To schedule - 40% Trim - 10% Final Inspection." We have a signed authorization form for CC payment at 50% deposit and 50% at completion. The remodel however is not complete, and we did not sign a contract for trim out. The electrical work is finished, and our inspection was signed off and passed. Our responses have been consistent
Brennan was hired to install a sub-panel in my garage and clean up some switches and small jobs within the house. What should have been a 1-2 week job turned into a 2 month job. The sun-panel failed inspection with the city, and getting one of their guys to come remedy the situation took a very long time. In addition, their work coordinator, Mercedez Wilson does not return or take calls so your only hope of communicating is via email. Don't hire these guys. Brennan sent an electrician out to do an estimate for installing an EV charger at my house. It took 2 months just to get that arranged - including one time just completely forgetting to tell me the electrician would t be coming out on a scheduled day and rescheduling for 3 weeks later. The electrician finally gets out to my house and we talk about a plan for installing the charger outlet and he says he will email me a quote within 48 business hours. I write this in February 2021. I first got in touch with Brennan Electric for an estimate in October, 2021. They sent a man, who had some good ideas, in November, who promised on a Friday a written estimate by Monday. That didn't happen. I followed up. Nothing. Finally in the last week of January Brennan Electric called, apologized, promised to send the estimate...which hasn't happened. Maybe they do fantastic work; how would I know? What I do know is the communication process is wretched.
I had a scheduled appointment with Brennan (as a follow up to something they didn't fix right the first time) and waited around the entire day for them to show up. They confirmed the appointment in the morning and then a half hour after they were supposed to show I had to place a phone call to them only to find out they weren't going to show up. I had to go with another electrician on short notice to get my problem fixed properly.
Marty and Brennan Electric is so incredibly unprofessional. Please do not use. I normally do not leave reviews (good or bad) but this company will create a fire hazard in your home. We hired them to fix a light in our kitchen. The man who came out "fixed" the light by putting an unnecessary hole in our ceiling and in the process breaking a plug on the 2nd floor. Needed an electrical quote for putting in a therapeutic spa and to separate an old not to code box into two because it was tripping. Contacted them on Aug 28th. It took until Sept 15th to get an appointment for a bid because they had few times available and could only give me broad times when they could come.
