Being in the mortgage industry for 20 years now, I expected the process to be a little bumpy as I’ve seen happen to many borrowers. This was the complete opposite. I was very disappointed with the level of service I received. Cathi Smith came as a recommendation and I couldn’t have been more displeased. Additionally 3 weeks from closing I asked to lock my interest rate because I had a set walk through date. She went straight to the builder who told her that the date could be different and then did not lock in my rate which resulted in an increased interest rate that could have been avoided. Then at title the documents were incorrect with my old name.
