The policies of this credit union are worse than tradition banks. You can't make principal only payments when you satisfy your minimum payment and pay your interest for that cycle. I would have never used their services if I knew they were worse than my credit card and providing affordable services for their clients. I have never heard of not being able to make a principle payment on your loan.

Again another problem. My card is not working on any debit transactions and my auto payments are being declined. Plenty of money In the account. Card is not expired. There is absolutely no reason for this. Oh and of course the branch is closed and I can't seem to reach a live person.

Brightstar talks a good game, but when my account was hacked they did not back me up or provide any credit because they said the fraud was not noticed by me in time? The site they control was hacked and they would not assist me. Don't bank here, and certainly don't use the online banking because they won't protect you. Rates weren't great and the customer service particularly in Lauderhill is atrocious.

This company had my information pawned off to them to which they continued to give away they hit my credit 4 times with hard hit inquiries making it almost impossible for me to get a good mortgage interest rate horrible company, ghetto employees as well when I called to complain asking who gave them authority to run my credit the man passes the phone off to a "manager" which was never really one. Thanks a lot.

I was treated very poorly by the staff members when I came in to see an advisor. There was one other person waiting to be seen when I got there. I noticed a group of 3 employees laughing and talking in a cubicle that was within my view. I thought they were in a business meeting so I knew I wouldn't be seen by any of them. I checked the time. It was 4:00 when I arrived. I thought that someone would see me soon before they closed but when it became 4:45 I gave that a second thought. very poor customer service. go elsewhere, too many other credit unions in the Ft Lauderdale. I should of listened to my friends & stay far away from Brightstar. Seems like they hire all the tellers who were fired by other CU

The customer service here is horrible not only has every experience I have had with this company been terrible but the same goes for everyone I know that has done business with them. It's sad to say but I am just being honest here I wouldn't recommend this location to anyone at all.

This has to be the slowest bank in the United States there are three driving lanes but only one teller to take care of the deposits I am still in line for 12 minutes not one lane is moved. This is not a one time occurrence anytime I've had to go to his bankthey've been slow. Inside or outside.
