Nice place for breakfast. Food was good, and the home made Italian sausage was outstanding. Eggs were overdone but not a big deal for me. Wife enjoyed the waffles although she complained about the fruit on top. Service was pretty good considering how busy the place was.
Every time we are in NY we always make sure to have at least 1 meal at the Brooklyn diner. I made the reservation so that we could meet an online friend from another country who was vacationing in NY. It was the perfect place to chat, get to know who my daughters friend and family were while having a reasonably priced meal. This great place to eat is located centrally in the show district. The service and food is wonderful. We have eaten here a couple of times and have been equally happy both for breakfast as well as for dinner on different trips to Broadway. We highly recommend that you make reservations unless you don't mind a 15-30 minute wait at busy times. Enjoy!

While the food was good, it was nothing special. So I didn’t understand why it cost so much (other than being just outside of Times Square). Do not suggest for brunch

It was the first time for some people in our party seeing a broadway show. We picked the Brooklyn Diner thinking it would have a variety of food choices due to picky eaters, hence the word DINER. Our reservation was at 11:45, but we arrived about an hour early. The manager was FANTASTIC & sat us right away. Unfortunately they only had a breakfast menu & one of us does not eat breakfast items AT ALL. Again we thought Diner, breakfast all day & regular menu. WRONG!
