Eat at Brooklyn Diner whenever I see a play. Food great. Service amazing. Table always available when reserved. Highly recommend.

It's a great place to go after work, or after seeing a show! I work nearby, so I often meet friends there for dinner, and we always have a good time. The menu isn't extensive, but they have great guacamole, chicken parmigiana, and coconut cake! This is what I always order whenever I go! It's really like an old fashioned diner. It's definitely a good value, because the portion size is so huge that two people could share, or you have leftovers for lunch!

The food options were very limited and we could never seem to find our waiter. Food we did have was good though.

We had a reservation and still waited 15 minutes for a table. When we arrived the hostess said they were cleaning our table now and had us stand over at the bar to wait. 15 minutes is a long time to clean a table. The food was okay. We ordered burgers. They were good but the fries were luke warm and soggy. The server seemed overwhelmed. We waited a long time for the ice water we ordered. Water arrived with no ice. Took a while to get ice. Not a great experience. Wouldn’t go back.

Would give it 5 stars except the prices seem high for a diner-like environment and menu — likely due to astronomical rents in this prime Times Square location. Perfect for a pre- or post- theatre get-together. The service is a standout — everyone is friendly, patient, well trained and eager to please. One member of our party had specific dietary needs which were accommodated without attitude. This is a busy place, so reservations are highly recommended. The full menu is also served at the bar, if the wait for a table is too ... read more

It's a good place to go if you are seeing a show and do not want to spend $100 for dinner. We selected it becuase we thought we could order waffles etc. for dinner (turns out that was breakfast/brunch only). We each had salmon with veggies on the side -- came to about $70, which sounds crazy but is really pretty reasonable for that area. Server was quiet but nice and very very willing to accommodate any request we might have (as pescatarians, there were not a ton of options on the menu). I would go back -- nothing objectiona... read more
